We are currently recruiting:

Digital Skills Support - Immediate Start

Sevenoaks District in a variety of Community Venues

2 – 4 sessions per week (each session 4 hours)

£12 per hour plus travelling expenses

As part of Compaid’s dedicated and enthusiastic Outreach team, we have a new and exciting opportunity to support digital skills in the Sevenoaks District.

Working independently, you will support individuals on a 1-to-1 basis with all aspects of learning basic digital skills, including accessing the internet, online job searching, using Microsoft Office applications, social media and getting familiar with online interviews. The aim is to help individuals to gain in confidence and ability.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be able to communicate well with people of all ages 
  • Have excellent organisational skills 
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, setting up emails, use of apps, internet searching and basic digital skills

Use of vehicle is essential and all travel, up to a 20 mile radius, to reach remote training sessions will be reimbursed.

Full induction and training will be provided, with benefits including 4 weeks of holiday pay plus bank holidays (pro rata), and a Government approved NEST pension scheme available to all employees.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check is required (arranged by Compaid).

Full Time Accessible Minibus Driver - Canterbury

Full-Time - Mon - Fri - 45 hours term time and 22.5 hours school holidays

£24570.00 gross annual salary

Based in Canterbury

This is an interesting and varied role driving one of our specially adapted vehicles transporting disabled and other vulnerable adults and children to pre-arranged destinations. This will include the manoeuvring and securing of wheelchairs.

The skills required for this role include the ability to work to agreed schedules, to be confident and adaptable when dealing with disabled people and to be able to deal with unexpected situations as they arise.  Excellent communication skills and a calm and patient manner are essential.

To be considered for this role you must be 25 years of age or over, have at least 2 years professional driving experience with a clean full UK driving licence which includes category D1 (101), or equivalent, as a minimum requirement.

Benefits include NEST pension scheme available to all staff, four weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays and membership of the HSF Health Plan after completion of probation period.
