We are currently recruiting:

Part-Time Minibus Driver

32 hours per week worked flexibly over 4 days Mon – Fri with the possibility of overtime

£19,968 gross annual salary

Based in Paddock Wood, Kent

This is an interesting and varied role driving one of our specially adapted vehicles transporting disabled and other vulnerable people to pre-arranged destinations. This may involve loading and unloading of wheelchairs, operation of tail lifts and supporting passengers to get on and off the bus safely.

The skills required for this role include:

• the ability to work to agreed schedules,

• be confident and adaptable when dealing with disabled people

• be able to deal with unexpected situations as they arise.

• excellent communication skills

• a calm and patient manner

To be considered for this role you must have at least 2 years professional driving experience with a clean full UK driving licence with minimum category D1 (101) included.

An enhanced DBS check is required (arranged by Compaid).

A Government approved NEST Pension scheme is offered to all staff with employer matching contributions up to 6% of salary. Other benefits include employer paid membership of the Hospital Saturday Fund and 28 days Annual Leave including all Bank Holidays pro rata.

Digital Skills Support - Immediate Start

Sevenoaks District

4 hours per day, 2 days per week – days to be confirmed.

4 months contract with possibility of extension

£12 per hour plus travelling expenses

As part of Compaid’s dedicated and enthusiastic Outreach team we have a new and exciting opportunity to support vulnerable and older people to learn digital skills in the Sevenoaks District Areas.

Working independently you will support individuals on a one to one basis. Support will include setting up and using health apps.

The aim is to help individuals to gain in confidence and ability.

The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively and excellent organisational skills. Candidates must also have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of providing training or support to others.

Use of vehicle is essential. Mileage for remote training sessions will be reimbursed

Full induction and training will be provided, and benefits include four weeks holiday pay (pro rata), and a Government approved NEST pension scheme is available to all employees. .

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check is required (arranged by Compaid).
